Microsoft Fluent design


New design language came up from Microsoft for last creator update and it’s not just limited in their windows 10. It will be the next design inspiration for user interface designers. As per Microsoft, it will be the eloquent design process for complex designs, they call it the sensory experience for future. For me, it looks like an advanced version of Google material design, which provides depth of elements with more light sensitivity and giving the user the way more interactive experience.

The total design is not new to market while its more look like they have adapted more grey in UI and came more close to Macintosh and google material design.

 

The UI adding a frosted glass (acrylic) above the desktop or the base and which giving more attention to the specific content which user selected. It’s not new to the market and which we have seen in Mac before and Ubuntu (app drawer). So what’s new in Microsoft Fluent Design? Let’s take a look at their video here

It’s more like a motion graphics than a screen capture. While this video reveals more about # dimensional element previews it’s not directly talking about which devices can utilize it’s potential, how the graphics engine (GPU) render this in a normal everyday computer. up to this date (June 2017) Microsoft didn’t disclose any details of its min. system requirement or how new design language interacts with OEM software.

while most of the users switching their workspace from desktop to laptops and mobile devices such a more visual oriented interaction is making curious about Microsoft’s future plans. do they come up with mind-blowing device series? Do they plan for something bigger to grab customers back? Let’s see in short time.
